Friends + Fiber = Bliss
I've been abnormally busy at work of late, but I have been knitting, I swear! The Chanel jacket is only about half a sleeve and some pockets to go before sewing up. But I set that aside for the weekend which I spent at the seaside and at Stitches East in the company of some truly wonderful people! I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant weekend away.
And this week I managed to sneak in a little more dyeing, as well, to see if I couldn't extend the colour range a little to include more of a fall palette. Without further ado, here we have...
Earth:

Neptune:

Fiery Sunset:

The three above are in supersoft superwash merino, and this one below is in sportweight cashmere, about 1400 yards -- enough to make a sweater! (the pic's a bit dark and the colours are actually a little lighter and more vibrant than that, but we're sadly short on much natural light in these parts today)

There is a discreet rustling I hear in the corner from my needle stash. They're as impatient as I am to get at these, I think! But they'll have to wait. One project at a time. (I'm attempting to pace myself. We'll see how that goes.)
